Hello! I’m Dr Pam Dawson
Licensed Physiotherapist
I qualified with my honours bachelor degree in Physiotherapy in 1987. I completed my masters degree in physiotherapy in 2004. My research was on Low Muscle Tone in Children, in KZN. I published my book on this in 2008. I completed my PHD in Physiotherapy in 2019. The topic of my PHD Research : “The Effects of Exercise therapy on the co-morbidity of ADHD and DCD (Development Co-ordination Disorder).
I ran my first practice in Bellair, from 1990 until 1999. I opened my second practice in Waterfall in 1992, which I am still currently running and working in.
Being a physiotherapist for over 30 years speaks volumes about my absolute passion for my profession.
My mission statement
Regaining optimal function in all patients, whilst showing the utmost care and compassion for all.
I always look forward to being of assistance to all of my patients.
Special Interests
I am comfortable treating ALL conditions requiring physiotherapy. I have a special interest in treating:
• All Paediatrics Conditions (Especially Neurological Conditions)
